Trash Gxng collects and keeps records of your data. There is a legitimate interest that requires us to collect your data if you join our programme or our community group:

• We need to understand whom we are helping through our creative workshops
• We need to keep records of who we have helped into employment to fulfil our government contracts & corporate clients and get paid
• We need to ensure we can maintain a safe community group

Community Terms

We will never share individual data that could identify you. We only share data with third parties to help us measure how effective we are, and any data shared will be anonymised so that it never reveals anything about you personally. Your data will NOT be held for longer than necessary.

By being a member of this digital community, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Access to the Trash Gxng Academy digital community 

Access to the Trash Gxng Academy digital community is only permitted to Trash Gxng Academy participants, or alumni. You must not by any means give anyone who isn’t on the programme, or hasn’t completed the programme, access to your account or the community.

Community Conduct

Be respectful and considerate in all interactions with fellow members and administrators within the digital community.

Do not engage in bullying, harassment, hate speech, or any form of discrimination based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic.

Do not share personal information, including your address, phone number, or other identifying details, in public discussions.

Content and Contributions:

You are responsible for the content you post in the community. Ensure that your contributions are respectful, relevant, and appropriate for the community's purpose.

Do not post copyrighted material without proper attribution or permission.

Avoid sharing false information or engaging in harmful activities.

Privacy and Data:

Protect your personal information. Do not share sensitive data, such as passwords or financial information, with anyone in the community.

Understand that the community administrators may collect and store certain information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Reporting Concerns:

If you encounter any inappropriate or concerning behaviour within the community, please report it to the community administrators.

Suspension or Termination:

Violation of these Terms and Conditions may result in your temporary suspension or permanent removal from the community, at the discretion of the administrators.

Parental Consent:

If you are under 16, your parent or legal guardian must consent to your participation in the community and accept these Terms and Conditions on your behalf.

Changes to Terms:

These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically. It is your responsibility to review them regularly to stay informed of any changes.

Overall Consent

We would also like to collect data on your ethnicity, race, health and criminal convictions so we can work out which young people we are reaching. You can opt out of this and still join the programme:

• I consent to Trash Gxng collecting and holding data on my ethnicity and race.

• I consent to Trash Gxng collecting and holding data on health.

• I consent to Trash Gxng collecting and holding data on my criminal convictions.

We would also like your consent to include you in any videos or photographs we take during the course. We use these images to promote our work, e.g. on our website or in our newsletter.

• I consent to Trash Gxng using images and videos taken with my knowledge and using these images for publicity and marketing purposes. I understand that these images may be used by partner organisations working with Trash Gxng.
